World War Z

World War Z is a zombie fiction book that is not exactly a novel but more of a narrative. It is a compilations of a reporters interviews of survivors of the Zombie Wars. Based from the reporters interviews the reader can have a good visualization of the events that took place before, after, and during the war. The whole incident starded in China at the end of the Cold war. A minor incident as one might add as only a few villagers were infected and was thought to be contained. However refugees and illegal immigrants who continuously move out from the country spread the infection faster and at a larger scale by carrying infected relatives and themselves to other countries and triggering contaminations throughout mainland Asia and Europe. The contamination also spread throughout the Americas via organ donors who were infected but not yet reanimated from other 3rd world countries. The continuous appearances of the living dead throughout the whe world caused an event known as the Great Panic where the world started desperate attempts to quell the undead such as an Exodus to the north, the quarantine of North Korea and Israel and also many failed counter attacks against the undead one of which caused America dearly called Yonkers. As days and months passed humanity were not only threatened by the undead but by nature and themselves as well. Cannibalism became a staple in many areas, men freezing from the harsh cold of the north, people who simply die from the hopelessness and mentally destroyed men who pretended to be zombies. From the ashes of death and destruction came a plan somewhat insane but works. This is to have human encampments protected and supply in order to draw the zombies into one area and then kill them enmasse. This tactic caused a worldwide counter offensive which ended the global zombie threat.
